Director
My name is Kinnasia and I started Nature’s Nest Childcare in 2025. I studied at Binghamton University earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Health and Wellness. I then attended an accelerated Nursing program at The College of New Rochelle obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. While achieving my Bachelors degree in nursing, I worked as a health and wellness educator for a public school, a teacher’s assistant in many day and after school programs and lastly as an assistant counselor for a charter school. I am now pursuing a Doctorate degree as a Psychiatric Nurse Practioner because I am passionate about providing mental health and wellness care to the youth.
Nature’s Nest was born from a simple but powerful goal – to create a childcare experience that feels like home while providing the structure and quality of a top-tier center. As a Registered Nurse and mom of two, I’ve cared for children both in hospitals and in my own home, and I knew families needed more than just supervision – they needed connection.
Together with my husband, a dedicated medical student, we combined our backgrounds in healthcare and parenting to build a nurturing space focused on the whole child. From emotional growth to early learning and safety, every part of Nature’s Nest was designed with care and intention.
We proudly serve Buffalo and the surrounding community families with a heart for excellence and a deep respect for every child’s unique journey.

hiring the best staff
We believe children thrive when surrounded by consistent, compassionate, and qualified caregivers. That’s why we carefully select educators who bring not only professional experience, but genuine warmth and a passion for working with young children. As the founders, we are hands-on and committed to being part of your child’s daily care experience. Our staff will include certified childcare professionals, float educators, and assistants who are trained in child development, CPR/first aid, and trauma-informed care. We prioritize hiring team members who reflect the diverse families we serve and who believe in building strong, respectful relationships with both children and parents.
