Daily schedule
Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities.
Before School Care (EXTENDED HOURS)
6:00am-8:00am
This early drop-off option is available only to families who are enrolled and accepted into our Extended Hours Program. Children can arrive as early as 6:00 a.m. and begin their day with quiet play, reading, or relaxed activities. School-aged children will be safely supervised until their bus or caregiver arrives. This service is offered at an additional rate and supports parents with earlier work schedules.
ARRIVAL for the regular hours program (8am-4-pm)
8:00am – 9:30am (appropriate arrival time)
8am -8:30am (FREE PLAY)
Children will engage in a variety of developmentally appropriate quiet play activities that encourage learning in all areas of development, as well as a teacher facilitated activity (puzzles, coloring, drawing).
BREAKFAST
8:30am – 9:00am
Eat Breakfast & handle Hygiene. (toileting, washing hands and brushing teeth) Weekly Food Schedule Posted in Childcare Center. Milk is provided with breakfast.
Indoor Physical activity/Music and Movement
9:00am – 9:30am
for daily movement (indoor gym, yoga, dance).
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHILDREN AFTER 9:30AM

There will be no tuition adjustments, credits, or refunds due to unexcused late drop off, sickness, holidays, closings due to natural disasters, personal days, or any other acts of nature with the exception to families who qualify for the vacation credits (see vacation policy located in the handbook for reference).
Morning Circle/Circle Time
09:30am – 10:00am
Morning meeting is a time to greet everyone and start our day. Activities at morning meeting include children’s jobs, calendar, weather, introduction of new letters and numbers of the week and introduce the days activities.
Group Activity
10:00am – 10:30am
THEMED activity (holidays, dinosaurs, sea creatures)
Group Activity

ACADEMIC activity (tracing name, coloring shapes)
Outdoor physical activity
11:00am – 11:45am
for inclement weather and for daily movement (yoga, dance).
Quiet Play
11:45am – 12:00pm
Quiet play while waiting for Lunch to be served (read books, build blocks)
LUNCH
12:00pm – 12:30pm
Eat Lunch and handle Hygiene (toileting, washing hands and brushing teeth). Weekly Food Schedule Posted in Childcare Center. pretzels or graham crackers. Water is provided with the lunch.
Nap/ Rest Time
12:30pm – 3:00pm
Quiet Play (reading books) while waiting for nap time to be completed if unable to sleep
After School Care (EXTENDED HOURS) 3:00pm- 7:00pm
3:00pm – 7:00pm (appropriate arrival times)
3:30pm – 4:00pm FREE PLAY
This after school drop-off option is available only to families who are enrolled and accepted into our Extended Hours Program. Children can arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. and begin their homework later engaging in, fun relaxed activities. This service is offered at an additional rate and supports parents with earlier work schedules.
Snack time:
3:00 pm. – 3:30 a.m.
Our school has a peanut free policy. Children begin snack with hand washing and participate in serving and clean-up. Snacks include Goldfish, Cheez-its, Ritz, Saltines, pretzels or graham crackers. Water is provided with the snack.
Physical activity
3:30pm – 4:00pm
Children Play outside (in the backyard or local park) or in the indoor play gym area
Free Play
4:00pm – 4:30pm
Children get to pick a station to engage in supervised and structured free play. They will engage in a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that encourage learning in all areas of development (puzzles, coloring, drawing)
Clean up time
4:30pm – 4:55pm
All day program children work together to clean up our class room and start packing up for dismissal
DISMISSAL for the regular hour program
5:00pm
Regular Hour Daycare now CLOSED until 8am
Evening Meeting/ Circle Time
5:00pm – 6:00pm
Academic activity/homework

Themed activity if school work is completed (ex: healthy cooking class)
Dinner
6:30pm – 7:00pm
Eat Dinner and handle Hygiene (toileting, washing hands and brushing teeth). Weekly Food Schedule Posted in Childcare Center. Water is provided with the dinner meal.
Clean up time
7:00pm – 7:25pm
All extended care program children work together to clean up our class room.
